is a market-leader in sales, marketing and distribution of specialty chemicals and food ingredients.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Growing the business in the Benelux by expanding the customer base as well as increase sales per customer.Finding new business opportunities through product development and by expanding the ingredients portfolio. Giving technical advice on ingredients, processing and application recipes to clients’ R&D organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Creation of business plans and budgets for customers portfolio.
- Define business opportunities per (target) customer.
- Acquire knowledge on the technical specifications for each product in order to become an effective sparring partner with the customers about product needs.
- Share, with the support of the Regional Sales Managers, solution-selling successes in the global market place.
- Furthermore, candidates should have excellent sales/negotiation skills

REQUIREMENTS

- Master’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry or related area and a solid proven track
- Affinity with, or experience in food ingredients is key.
- The ideal candidate takes initiatives in creating new commercial opportunities
