THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.

This client is a key market player in the area of natural ingredients, additives, flavorings and colorings. You will be part of a small team, so a hands-on mentality is necessary. With a lovely office in the East of the Netherlands, the client focuses on the Dutch and Belgian markets.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the food additives and colorings, both in small quantities and in bulk. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to customers individually are important traits to have. Within a small team, you will be the manager responsible for upholding the final budget, visiting and maintaining relationships with clients as well as negotiating prices. To do this efficiently, you have a strong commercial mindset. You know your limitations and function well with a team. You are representative and communicative towards clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advancing sales in the Netherlands and Belgium
• Responsible for B2B contacts
• Sales of natural additives and colorings
• Price negotiations with clients
• Updating the CRM system
• Occasional client visits are part of the job
• Bearing final responsibility for the budget

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably within the Food Sciences
• 3-5 years of experience in B2B
• Technical and commercial sales experience
• Willingness to work full time with occasional travels to Belgium
• Good command of the English and Dutch languages, French is a strong plus
• Independent, communicative, team player, with a commercial mindset
