Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Limburg Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for both the hunting and the farming. You make new contacts, driven by adding value to your customers' products. By thinking in the long term, you create relationships for years to come. Think in partnerships, not in clients. With your open and easy-going communication, you think in possibilities and know how to deliver results. Of course, you have a proven track record in sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• close cooperation with customer service, purchasing, QA
• hunting for new clients, farming and cross-selling
• sustaining relations in the long term
• international flexibility throughout Europe: you help other departments
• mapping markets
• reporting to the sales director

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor level commercial degree
• Fluent Dutch, English, other languages are a plus
• 5+ years of experience in the Food industry external sales (preferably meat or perishables)
• Flexible, communicative, down-to-earth
• Willing to occasionally travel internationally (Europe)
• In it for the long haul
