RTR Senior Accountant
RTR Senior Accountant supports RTR Market Lead and is responsible for financial accounting activities for 1-2 legal entities, depending on the size of the entities.
The main responsibilities consist of completion of month-end reporting, initiating routine journals, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, completing some external reporting activities (namely
audit support), supports also RTR Market Lead on any escalated issues from PTP and BTC streams. The Role holder is accountable for complying with all relevant RTR internal controls.
Market Accountant is expected to be a successor for a Market Lead over time.
The role holder will also be responsible for indirect operational management & review of the work conducted by Accountants & Assistants in offshore team:
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles of markets
- Prepares and reviews ledgers/accounts to identify unusual items and selects the correct procedure for action
- Provides solution for accounting issues and completes corporation tax provision calculations
- Provides information and any accounting analysis to various parties as required to support decision making
- Preparation of audit deliverables and liaison with auditors
Requirements:
- Part-qualified Accountant – ACCA / ACA (or local equivalent)
- 2-3 years financial accounting experience
- Experience on statutory accounts is an advantage
- MS Office, incl. advanced Excel
- SAP experience
- Good communication skills
- Detail oriented, highly structured, loyal
- Fluent English
