Opis stanowiska pracy

The major responsibilities are:

  • Process execution and compliance of all record to report processes, which includes Month End
  • Closure, Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation, Trial Statement Review, Balance Sheet Review and
  • Journal Vouchers)
  • Safeguard the compliance with accounting standards and regulations (IFRS, local regulations, directives)
  • Execute internal controls related to your domain in a timely and accurate manner
  • Support audits with documentation and process descriptions a.o.
  • Monitor the performance of our service provider, who is performing the transactional activities
  • Manage all stakeholders (both internal as well as external)
  • Manage and optimize the processes end-to-end, while being the linking pin with the other finance processes (PTP and OTC) and working closely with the Financial Controller
  • Continuously look for improvements and implement quick wins;
  • Maintain the plan how to monitor and improve KPI"s
  • Be the expert in problem solving, understanding root causes of issues, implementing countermeasures and embedding the new way of working;
  • Be the expert in IFRS;
  • Run process improvement projects;

The profile:

  • Experience in working in a multinational and in a complex matrix organization
  • Fluent English (B2/C1)
  • Financial, Economical or Maths educational background
  • Experience with working as an independent accountant
  • Experience in shared services and in monitoring a service provider
  • Good knowledge of another local GAAP will be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of another European language will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Profound knowledge of end-to-end finance and accounting processes
  • Ability to analyze the total balance sheet / General Ledger and raise proposals to improve
  • High energy, strong sense of urgency, self-motivated and result oriented
  • Ability to manage priorities
  • Solid process insight and view on redesign
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP, Blackline and Runbook
  • Great communication skills and pro-active attitude
  • Able to convince people
  • Able to build bridges between various stakeholders;
  • Solid problem solving skills;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Determination to continuously improve and get the change embedded;
  • Coaching and teaching skills;
  • Team player and motivator
  • Ability to work with other cultures
