For our Client located in Katowice, we are currently looking for a person interested in the role of Network Engineer.
Your new role
Holding this position you will coordinate hardware installation, define, document and enforce system standards, design and implement new solutions, and improve resilience of the current environment. You will also asset lifecycle management and contribute to the design and implementation of LAN, WAN and Wifi solutions. Your duties will also include support of the European datacenters network as well as daily network and security devices management. You will be expected to proactively monitor the systems and provide Level 2-3 diagnosis and advanced troubleshooting for Europe and AMEI. This role will also require ensuring maximum availability and up-time of systems and development and documentation of network operations and monitoring processes and procedures
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful Candidate on this role you need to possess a relevant University Degree as well as at least 3 years of experience within a similar role. You also need to hold deep expertise with protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, BFD and OSPF, and strong knowledge in Cisco switches. Knowledge of Cisco VOIP products and Cisco certifications will be an asset. You will also be expected to hold SDWan knowledge, technical troubleshooting skills and ability to escalate and multitask when required. Fluency in English is a must.
