The Company
The location is a new state of the art Life Science innovation centre for the development of new product concepts for infants, toddlers, elderly and patients.Role Description
In this position you will get the unique possibility to manage the laboratory for the packaging development team, as well as managing packaging standardization projects. The packaging development team is around 16 FTE. The packaging lab is fully dedicated for development and validation of food packaging.Responsibilities
Within this position you will manage the packaging lab to improve the lab by develop and standardize test methods, lead equipment validation and commissioning, implementation of procedures and training to the team. You support the team by performing trials and tests and you will advise the team on test methods and equipment.You will also manage standardization projects for carton & corrugated packaging
Requirements
You have 0 to 5 years relevant work experience and an engineering (mechanical, chemical or material science) background, preferably HBO level.Laboratory and/or packaging development experience will be beneficial.
You like the challenge of working in an international and dynamic environment.
You can work independently and you have good communication skills.
