THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Belgium.
This client supplies food ingredients and flavourings to the food and beverage industry. They are a B2B business who strive to grow in the ingredients market and have an increasingly larger share. For this, they need talented and ambitious new people.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As R&D officer, you travel with the sales managers to provide them with technical feedback. You answer client questions about technical food processing challenges and work together with the R&D departments to create solutions. You know how to set up starter trials and assist your colleagues with this. Through your experience, you teach colleagues about food ingredients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Helping customers with test trials
• Assisting key account managers with product details
• Close cooperation with the R&D department
• Learning everything there is to learn about the product groups
• Developing training programs for your colleagues
• Suggesting future technological development
REQUIREMENTS
• BSc or MSc in Food Technology
• Minimum of 7 years of R&D experience
• Leadership experience
• Product development experience
• Dutch is a must, English is a must, other European languages are a plus
• Interested in food and beverage trends, able to think commercially
