THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
They are a producer of international specialties, which are developed in the Netherlands. They supply their products throughout Europe and today they are looking for a new R&D Manager who can strengthen their team and their company.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As an R&D Manager you are an innovator and mentor to the team. Our task is to be the expert on the product category in terms of formulation, recipe, process, equipment and run your own applied research projects based on market’s request. Finally, you support business development to ensure proper distribution to the clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Innovate and improve new and existing products
- Work cross-functionally with all teams in The Netherlands and abroad
- Manage a team of 5 employees
- Set up strategic plan and work within the budget
- Travel 20% of the time
REQUIREMENTS
- At least a Bachelors in Food Technology
- At least 5 years experience in the food industry and managing teams
- Experience in project management
- Fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus
