THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Oost-Vlaanderen Belgium.
They are a producer of sweets and pastes with a focus on using natural ingredients to create their products. They have a great and friendly atmosphere and invest in their employees.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As an R&D Manager you will lead the R&D team and support their innovations and ideas. Your main task is to develop new products, by following market trends and following up on customer orders. Besides the practical, hands-on creation, you also offer technical support to sales by answering technical questions. You work together with marketing and distribution in project groups to scout for new trends and put them in practice. Besides industrial production, you manufacture samples for tastings, exhibitions and clients.

- Following dough and bakery trends
- Create strategic plan and uphold strategy
REQUIREMENTS
- MSc in Food Technology or similar
- Experience in the food industry
- Experience in product development
- Ability to think out of the box
- At least 10 years of experience, preferably management experience
