THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
They are a producer and developer of herbs and spices with a focus on the gastronomical taste. To develop their high quality products, they are looking for an R&D Manager, who has a passion for the culinary sciences and who can lead the team and be the head of innovation within the food industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As an R&D Manager Culinary Science, you will be responsible for the innovation of products, leading a team of 4 and training them to become the best product developers in the industry. You will work closely with the sales and marketing department to market the products and explain what the raw materials are used.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage product development projects within the project plans and budget
- Be the head of innovation to develop creative products
- Keep up with the gastronomy industry trends and what is important in today's industry
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to market the new and existing products
REQUIREMENTS
- At least a Bachelors in Food Science or Food technology
- At least 5 years' experience in product development in the food industry
- Result-driven and en eye for detail
- Proof of past projects in food development
- Fluent in Dutch and English
