Our client is a professional Healthcare organization, based in Oost-Vlaanderen Belgium.

Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Flandre Orientale Belgium. An OTC company with a strong focus on R&D and innovation. Always developing new Consumer Health Products (OTC) to bring non-prescription health products to the market. Always combining science with consumer preference.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As the Junior R&D Scientist you will be part of the innovation team that is responsible for the broad OTC-product line that the client has. This environment lets you pick up on an industrial setting while providing a variety of trainings. The long term goal is to evolve into a project manager R&D.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will manage all external studies for new consumer health products. A candidate with a broad background, curious mindset and heads-on mentality will thrive in this highly innovative setting. You will start working on three different projects and you will take on more projects down the line. Must have a commercial mindset as it is the goals to bring product to the market. Organised work mentality, with the ability to report clearly on project progress. You will report to two R&D project managers.

REQUIREMENTS

- PhD in Pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences
- 1-3 years of industry experience (postdoc is ok)
- Broad background
- Fluent in English (Dutch a plus)
