The Company

Our client is an established manufacturer of labeling and packaging materials. They work with some of the biggest pharmaceutical manufacturers, as well as key cosmetics manufacturers.

The company is characterized by its flat structure and informal atmosphere.

Role Description

An integral part of the management team, you will be responsible for the organisation of the Quality department and the management of 5 quality officers.

You will report directly to the site MD and the Quality Director in the head office.

This role suits a customer focused Quality Manager who is passionate about people management and development.

Responsibilities

- Contribution to the further development and improvement of the quality system in accordance with ISO 9001, GMP and BRC

- Input and coordination in the preparation, adaptation and introduction of various quality documents such as procedures, instructions and registrations

- Coach a team of 5 quality officers and encourage colleagues to develop and follow up corrective measures and projects

- Carrying out checks and tests to support complaints management, projects, improvement measures, ...

- Complaints registration from customers and suppliers if necessary

- Organizational audits

- Management of HACCP risk analysis

- Meetings regarding quality and complaints with clients

- Analyzing internal and external complaints, reporting to the site director and to the quality director

Requirements

- Strong people manager

- Fluency in English, Dutch and French

- QM experience within a pharma, food, cosmetics, biotech or devices manufacturer

- Thorough knowledge of ISO 9001 standaard and GMP
