Quality Assurance Officer (junior/ entry level)

Role Description
The purpose of the QA Officer role is to provide Quality Assurance guidance and support in the production area. This includes the compliance of GMP regulations, batch review (QP support) and contribute to the communications between departments (production, warehouse, maintenance, engineering, QA and the QP).Additionally, problem solving abilities in critical in this role.
Responsibilities
- Act as first point of contact for quality production inquires in packaging and labelling- Perform product, batches and GMP check-ups
- Train Production workers to be compliant with SOPs and GMP regulations
- Review and approve class I non-conformances
- Initiate QA investigations when needed
- Preparation of periodic reports/ metrics
- Supervision of KPIs departmental boards
Requirements
- MBO/ MLO or HLO/ HBO background within life sciences- (preferably) a first experience within QA, QC or manufacturing
- Basic knowledge of GMP
- Fluent in English

Important informationThis role is structured in 3 shifts (Monday to Friday) with a weekly alternation of early and late shift and a week night shift every 8 weeks.
- Early: 06:30 - 15:00 (104% payment)
- Late: 14:30 - 23:00 (128%)
- Night: 22:30 - 07:00 (161%)
In the rare case of working on a Saturday or Sunday the extra compensation will be multiplied by 175% and 200%.
The average salary per year in this position will be:
- Minimum: 40.900 € gross per year
- Average: 50.000 € gross
- Maximum: 58.000 € gross
The salary per month will vary depending on the shifts.
Additionally, all public transport is fully covered and there is a small compensation of around 6 euros net a day when commuting by car.
Holiday days: 24+6 which are reimbursable.
