THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The company is a smaller bakery firm which produces both A-label and private label for the retail and foodservice industries for several European countries.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Quality Assurance Manager, you are responsible for all QA and food safety issues within the production site. You will develop and implement QA policies and improve where and when necessary. You will lead a team of 4 QA Officers and you will be a member of the MT. The QA Manager reports to the Plant Manager.
For this position, we are also open to junior candidates looking for a second or third step in their career. If you want to gain leadership and MT experience, this is a unique opportunity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of 4 QA Officers.
- Responsible for the quality management system.
- Contribute to a culture of quality within the organisation, including giving trainings to staff.
- Participate in RCA and continuous improvement projects.
- Prepare, conduct and successfully complete audits.
- Analyse trends and make proposals within the MT.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Food Quality Management, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 3 years of experience with Quality Assurance in a production setting in the food industry.
- Leadership experience is an asset.
- Experience with HACCP, BRC, IFS and GMP+ is an asset.
- Fluency in English is a must, fluency in Dutch is a strong asset.
