THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Limburg Netherlands.
The company is a mid-sized player in the AGF industry with a wide variety of products. The plant you will work on is one of the company's smaller production facilities, and you will quickly get to know everyone in the organisation. The company is looking to increase the size of the production site, and they are looking for a QA Manager who can grow with them.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Quality Assurance Manager, you are responsible for all QA-related issues on the production site. This includes retaining certifications and ensuring good audit results. You will work together with operators to create awareness for quality issues and integrate QC checks in the production process. You will report to the Plant Manager and manage one QA Assistant.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain the Quality Management System.
- Supervise the QA Assistant.
- Conduct internal and supplier audits.
- Check blocked products and product specifications.
- Train staff members and create awareness for QA.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Food Quality Management, Food & Business, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 3 years of experience with Quality Assurance in the food industry.
- Experience with HACCP and FSSC 22000 or BRC/IFS.
- Experience with continuous improvement projects.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
