THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Food organization, based in West-Vlaanderen Belgium.

The company is a small family-owned firm specialised in ingredients for the food industry.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Quality Assurance Managers, you are responsible for food safety and quality on the site. You will retain relevant certifications, follow up on audit results and complaints, and give trainings to staff members. This role reports to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain the quality system.
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Follow up on internal and external complaints.
- Giving trainings to staff members.
- Review and improve production processes.
- Advise the Board on QA issues.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Bio-Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with QA in the food industry.
- Experience with HACCP, ACS, BRC, IFS and Organic.
- Fluency in Dutch and English required; fluency in French is an asset.
