Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
This national organization is focused on sustainability and innovation in the food industry. Focus on B2B and growing quickly.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This organization is growing rapidly and therefore they are in need of a QHSE Manager. In this position the quality, health and safety aspect are primarily important. You manage and perform audits, support the organization to improve SHE aspects and report to the line manager.
As a manager your main focus will be implementing all the QHSE norms and processes. You will be coaching, evaluating and developing QHSE Officers in a team of 4 to 5 employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The main tasks will be:
- Reconciliation with the Business Unit Manager on translating customer needs into quality assurance systems
- Advising the Business Unit MT with inter alia improvement plans based on (internal and external) audits and signals from the Business Unit
- Developing a high QHSE awareness in Business Units.
REQUIREMENTS
- MSc in Food Technology & Science
- 3-5 years experience in the food industry
- Knowledge of regulations and management systems (e.g. BRC, IFS, ISO, HACCP, AEO, ISPS etc);
- Experience in the food sector / food production;
- Quality and result oriented with an accurate structure
