THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Chemicals organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
The company is the leading manufacturer of vinegar-based cleaning products, covering a large segment of private label cleaning products. They are currently busy investing in their production sites and modernising their production lines. ROLE DESCRIPTION
The QESH Manager is responsible for quality, environment, safety and health for 2 sites, based in North Brabant and North Holland. As the company is in the process of modernising its production and improving the knowledge level of the organisation, you will take the lead in developing a long-term QESH strategy and developing a strong foundation for the future. However, you will also have operational responsibilities, such as analysing samples, doing inspection rounds, handling complaints and participating in R&D projects. You will report to and work closely together with the Managing Director and the Group QESH Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure a high level of product quality by developing and improving the quality management system.
- Anticipate the QESH needs of the organisation in the future and make a plan to meet said needs.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects and R&D projects.
- Handle complaints and questions from clients.
- Do inspection rounds and audits.
- Liaise with authorities for permits and BRZO-related matters.
- Give trainings to employees and presentations to the Board.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry or similar.
- At least 3 years of experience with Quality Assurance in a production environment in the chemicals industry.
- Experience with vinegar-based products and/or liquid chemical products is an asset.
- Experience with BRZO is an asset.
- Experience with JD Edwards or SAP is an asset.
- Fluency in Dutch and a good understanding of English is a must; good understanding of German and/or French is an asset.
