Role Description

Is 0.001 more than four numbers ? Do you want to have a key role in creating excellent laboratory results and controlling the laboratory performance in a GMP environment? Is a laboratory more than a room with equipment ? As Quality Control (QC) Manager in Gorinchem we offer you the opportunity to provide highly reliable QC data in timely manner and in line with production schedules and quality management systems

Responsibilities

As the QC Manager you will lead your team of 15 analysts to support in advanced troubleshooting as well as work on development and implementation of new analytical methods to support further business requirements. Other responsibilities:

Coach and further develop a team of 15 analysts
Manage laboratory performance and assure results are delivered on time with reliability and in compliance with good laboratory practice, quality management systems, customer requirements and the other related rules and regulatory requirements
Implement and validate new test methods and exchange information in order to support business requirements
Investigate and respond to customer complaints and raw material deviation to avoid reoccurrence
Assist the organization in QC-related questions
Further explore the field of predictive analytics

Requirements

In addition to your educational achievements with a degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field, for the position of QC Manager we require:

Minimum 5 years practical experience in analytical chemistry
Familiarity with various quality standards; eg. ISO 9001, FSSC22000, cGMP, GMP+ and ICHQ7
Experience in a GMP laboratory for pharma products
Verbal and written fluency in Dutch and English language
Experience with customer and certification audits from certifying bodies as well as authorities such as the FDA
