QA Tester
Location: Remote PolandThe role is within the Risk Technology working on the QA team. The team work closely with Risk Developers, Risk BAU, QA Automation and Change Mangement. The ideal candidate would have prior experience working in an investment bank and would have experience in a Manual Tester or Dev Ops role and a proven track record of delivering as part of a project team and utilising test automation tools and software such as SQL.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to project testing strategies and policies.
Liase with business stakeholders and technology teams with respect to testing and QA.
Co-ordinate test runs against test plans and liase to ensure systems are ready for promotion to UAT .
Write, review and create test packs
Produce and complete all required testing documentation and capture all evidence in accordance with InfoSec and Audit Policies..
Clear and regular communication with the wider QA and Risk teams on project process. Timely raising of defects and testing delays.
Provide technical support to BAU for run books and release go lives.
Providing user support, including responding to user queries and supplying resolutions and fixes to issues.
Liaise with users in the Risk Management and other related areas to confirm requirements.
SKILLS
MUST
ISTBQ certification or equivalent.
Confluence, JIRA, HPQC, TestRail, Putty.
Design methodologies and best practices.
End to end software lifecycle knowledge.
Experience of working in an investment banking technology environment.
Planning and prioritisation skills.
Experience of working on large scale software projects with multiple project phases.
Experience interacting with quantitative users to resolve complex business problems.
Experience reporting bugs and defects to developers.
Experience of credit and market risk reporting; PV, Sensitivity, Stress, VAR, P&L Rec, PFE, Credit utilisation.
Experience with Markit Financial Risk Analytics.
Experience prepain test documentation such as test strategy, daily reporting and test completion reports.
NICE TO HAVE
Experience testing with Microsoft HPC Server, Grid and Cloud Computing.
Experience testing Web Development with ASP .NET and MVC.
Microsoft SQL Server.
Knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence stack (SSAS, SSIS).
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of batch schedulers such as Control M or Autosys.
Exposure to third party banking systems eg Murex, Oracle, Serena, Middleware.
