The Company

This company international company produces a variety of ingredients for the dairy and confectionery industry. The plant in the Netherlands focus on the production for the clients in the European market.

Role Description

As QA-manager you'll be the connecting factor between the production process and the quality. You'll make sure that the quality awareness continues to stay at the highest level during the realization of the expansion of the production process. Due to the expansion of the production the company is looking for a manager who is willing to learn and also take control of the HSE-management.

Responsibilities

In your roll as QA-manager you'll take charge of maintaining and development of the quality systems trough out the organisation, Furthermore you'll be responsible for keeping the manuals compliant with local and European legislation and you'll take point in the communication with governments and clients concerning QA related questions.

- Execute external and internal audits.
- Managing resource and end product specifications.
- Be a part of the local managing team.
- report directly to the Managing Director.

Requirements

- BSc comparable to a degree in Food Technology or Analytical Chemistry .
- Knowledge of current quality systems like BRC, ISO 9001, GMP+ and HACCP.
- Relevant management experience in the field of QA and willing to expand into HSE.
- Fluent (speaking and writing) in Dutch and English and proficient in speaking German.
- Experience in a production oriented environment is a plus.
