THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Drenthe Netherlands.
The company is one of the leading firms in the food ingredients sector.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As QA/HSE Manager, you will be responsible for quality, food safety, health, safety and environment on the site. You will manage a team of QA, QC and HSE specialists and you are part of the MT. This position reports to the Plant Manager and the Group QA/HSE Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a high standard of quality, food safety and HSE in the factory through the QESH management system.
- Develop long- and short-term QESH strategies for the site and draft action plans to realise these strategies.
- Make and follow up RIE analyses.
- Track performance on QESH targets and take measures where necessary.
- Advise MT about trends in QESH legislation.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Analytical Chemistry, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with QESH Management in a production environment in the food industry.
- HVK, NEBOSH or Preventieadviseur 1 or 2 is an asset.
- Experience with managing a team.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
