QA Analyst

Project

Candidate will work on existing Debt Capital Market Book Building solution and evolution of this platform to market connectivity in United States and Europe.

Debt Capital Markets IT is a small diverse team supporting a global front office within Credit Suisse with Fixed Income Book building in Americas, Europe and Asia. QA Analyst position is in the Wroclaw, Poland and candidate will work closely with existing Development, QA staff in Wroclaw. QA Analyst will also work closely with Business Analyst and Developers in London, New York.

• Manage QA life cycle, which primarily includes creation of Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases/Scripts & Defect life-cycle management.
• Review functional requirements and technical designs to create test plans and detailed test cases
• Create and execute manual and automated tests based on software release enhancements.
• Work closely with product managers and other teams to develop a deep understanding of a product's requirements.
• Development of automated test creation and execution using test automation tools
• Work closely with our development team ensuring proper regression steps are documented
• Understand system components, how they interact with one another, and perform different types of testing: functional, system, regression and acceptance.
• Assist business; pre and post launch and act as first line of triage for any bugs found.

• 8 -10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (preferably in IB environment & technology)
• Strong preference to candidates with software development background (C#, Java, Python, etc.)
• 5+ years of solid hands on experience in UFT, SQL, and any scripting language such as python, Perl, java script, shell scripts, etc.
• Demonstrated experience in QA processes and methodology; understanding requirements, test planning, test designing, and test execution
• Excellent experience in functional, regression, smoke, and Integration testing.
• Experience working with Jira/Confluence or similar tools
• Experience working with ALM tool
• Fast learner, with good attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently with little supervision in a fast-paced demanding environment.
• Ability to manage both manual and automation testing
• Strong communication and coordination skills required to plan & deliver test solutions by interacting with global QA, BA, PM, Dev, and other downstream application teams as applicable

• Experience in Investment banking and Capital Markets specifically Debt Capital Markets
• Knowledge of Financial industry and Credit Markets, Fixed Income.
