Purchasing Manager (Indirect) (M/F)
For our client, we are currently looking for a team oriented Manager to lead and motivate a small team and to perform direct communication with major suppliers.

Description
- Plans, organizes and executes purchasing activities, including negotiation, for general goods and services
- Supports the continuous development of existing buying activities and helps to develop purchasing department and processes
- Organizes communication and coordination on operational buying activities
- Performs daily buying activities including tracking and monitoring
- Supports the introduction a quality process to monitor the performance of buying functions by establishing key performance indicators
- Supports creation of training concept for future buyers
- Keeps up to date with procedures and process updates
- Handles administrative- and special tasks related to the team and service
- Establishing good relationship with vendors
- Maintain documentation records
Profile
- 4-5 years of experience in procurement
- important in the experience in leading small teams of specialists/engineers (c. 5-10 ppl), with some leadership experience in terms of long term team motivation
- backround of non- serial production
- very strong focus on appropriate type of personality: team - oriented person and at the same time flexible to join and adapt to greenfield environment
- ability to European travel occasionally
- able to communicate with high profile suppliers, in particular cases the communication will be directly performed
- University degree in Business Administration or Logistics or equivalent
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of service and customer orientation
- Intercultural awareness
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
