ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Project Manager is responsible for the execution of the “service to the customer”. You manage projects starting from the R&D phase through production completion and delivery. You are responsible for the organization and management of the transfer to the different phases in this process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Project Manager translates Supply agreements in Project Charters with clear objectives, timeline and scope to technically execute the contract. You are responsible for communication on all aspects to the customer (except commercial).
• You support the PFC business by performing project management tasks: assuring that the different projects are aligned and meet the deliverables on time. This is done by working closely together with Supply Chain, Production, Process Engineering and QA. You manage off track situations and balance between meeting the customer need and the company's interest, by using strong negotiation skills.
• You evaluate the majority of the project financially and service performance. You are initiating and over viewing continuous improvement initiatives.
• You support the Head of Strategy & Commercial operations and the sales team to meet the customer need and manage the technical execution of the Sales Agreement. You assure good collaboration with existing customers by taking the lead in customer review meetings and supply background information for business review meetings.
• You report to the Head of Project Management.

REQUIREMENTS

• Master in organic chemistry with relevant experience in GMP custom manufacturing environment. Appropriate technical understanding to allow good overview;
• Very strong project and time management skills, personal organization, autonomous and result driven;
• You have a good knowledge of GMP and Operational Excellence methodology (Lean and six Sigma);
• Track record of team player, problem solver and good communicator, able to solve conflicts;
• Able to build good relationships, both internally and externally;
• Good knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
• Willing to travel a couple of days per months.
