Our client is a professional Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.

The company is a well-known international pharma/biotech organization.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Supply Chain Project Manager acts as catalyst and gate-keeper for Continuous Improvement in the Intercontinental Supply Hub. This hub manages Order-to-Cash activities related to supply of product to the Turkey, Middle-East and Africa Region.

Objectives
- Manage and/or participate in global and departmental projects and initiatives
- Ensure business requirements from regional supply chain align with project scope and deliverables
- Drive project progress, inform stakeholders and escalate as appropriate
- Track progress of departmental project roadmap, including communication
- Investigate, develop, propose and report solutions for improving the company’s Order to Cash (OTC) process
- Analyze and report on performance of the OTC process on a macro and micro level
- Drive best practices and consistency in departmental project management in the OTC space

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Optimization of performance and consistency of the order to cash process.
- Manage and/ or contribute to projects to improve efficiency, performance, processes,
quality and support expansion.
- As project manager oversee all project steps from project design to planning, tracking,
involving stakeholder and sponsors, escalations, close out and lessons learnt.
- Represent Intercontinental supply chain when participating in projects.
- Analyses of capabilities, performances, root causes, gaps and processes for structural
improvement and for ad hoc problems, as well as in ongoing business to alert for any
potential or new issue together with functions and departments involved.
- Timely, appropriate and effective escalation of issues that may affect project timelines,
cost or results.
- Organize and execute hyper care after project completion.
- Liaise with different departments in the company and third parties to resolve issues, and implement improvements.
- Analyze processes, gaps, performance and alternatives (incl. other providers) for structural improvement, ad hoc problems or potential issues with functions and departments involved.
- Manage projects under minimal guidance.
- Be a backup for business critical tasks in the team.
- Change control and NC/CAPA ownership.
- Manage departmental project environment including mentoring, support, and training for staff
- Operate as the first point of escalation for all departmental projects

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor degree preferably in logistics or logistic knowledge by experience.
- 5 years experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, leading of and participating in projects
- Solid project management skills
- Savvy in analytics, process development and organization
- Quick process understanding, insight and visualizing
- Fluent in English, both in verbal and written communication
- Experience in leading projects and international environment
- Good communicator (stakeholder/team engagement, convincing, motivating)
- Independent
- Proven ability to deliver results
- Motivated, persistent, eager to optimize, drive for excellence
- Negotiating skills
- Problem solver
- Work in teams

Preferred Requirements
- GMP- and GDP knowledge
- Supply Chain understanding
- Knowledge of Operational Excellence tools, six sigma, FMEA.
- Understanding logistics processes of transport and warehousing providers
- Experience SAP
- Good presentation skills
- Demonstrating the company values and convey them to our partners

OTHER

- Willing to travel up to 5% (dependant on business needs)
