Our client is a professional Chemicals organization, based in Limburg Netherlands.
This company is constantly busy with improvement. Their headquarters are based in Limburg and from there on they expand their business every day. They produce raw materials and for the production of several chemical products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Within the European SC Solids organization, the Solutions team works to facilitate the companies growth as well as continuously looks for opportunities to further optimize the supply chain.
By managing supply chain projects, the team secures the distribution in the most cost effective way, against the service levels required by the market. These projects consist of a mix of hardware projects like developing new distribution sites, and software projects like upgrading systems.
The Project Manager Supply Chain Solutions works in this continuously growing and dynamic international business environment and the work enhances every aspect of the total value chain.
This results in managing projects like: (re)designing the European supply network, (re)designing Import supply chains, Warehousing projects, establishing distribution hubs, optimize payloads and transportation costs, site logistics projects, system-to-system projects (customers and logistics service providers), etc. All projects are multidisciplinary by nature, which makes the job very diverse and dynamic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading project teams for several projects such as redesigning the European Supply Network, import supply chain and improve hubs
- Cost control while working in a very efficient way
- Contact with internal and external stakeholders
- Solving software issues to make sure everybody can work with the complex it systems without any complications
- Problem solving to make sure the processes are without bottleneck and improvement is possible
- Setting targets to make sure result are guaranteed
REQUIREMENTS
- Master or Bachelor Degree preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
- Min. 5 years of experience with projects
- Min. 8 years of experience in Supply Chain
- Excellent IT and ERP skills
