The Company

Our client is a global leader in providing clinical research services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. They perform clinical research trials on many of the most advanced experimental drugs, biologicals and medical devices in development today.

Role Description

You will work at the Bioanalytical Laboratory unit located in Assen. This unit performs analysis of (new) drugs and biomarkers in biological samples from (pre-) clinical studies world-wide using different techniques. You will be responsible for the scientific content, timelines, quality and budget of the assigned projects.You manage the team internally and are the primary contact for the client.

Responsibilities

- Manage client’s contractual, organizational and relationship expectations
- Monitor and ensure adherence to the contractual agreements (time, quality/scope, and cost deliverables) - and regulatory requirements
-Provide regular reporting on project progress to client
-Lead and direct multi-disciplinary teams consisting of team leads, lab analysts, scientists and analytical writers
- Account management of key clients

Requirements

- PhD degree and preferably experience with project management
- Reads, writes and speaks fluent English
- Excellent communication skills, organizational talent, client focused, problem solving skills and proactive mindset
- Available for 32-40 hours a week
