THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Portugal.
My client is one of the largest multinationals in the Food Industry with multiple factories worldwide. For a greenfield project in Africa, I'm currently looking for a Portuguese speaking Project Manager who has a strong background in Engineering.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Project Manager you're responsible for managing the installation and construction at the greenfield project. In this role the Construction Manager and Installation Manager will be directly reporting to you. You will coordinate both teams to ensure the projects targets and goals and on the right time schedule and within the set budget.
The Project Manager will be working closely with the Safety Manager to make sure that the safety and health is guaranteed during the project. You will attend daily and weekly meetings to make sure that you're up to date about the progress of the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage civil construction and installation
-Coordination of the greenfield project
-Directly reporting to the Project Director
-Working closely with the Safety&Quality manager
-Construction Manager and Installation manager will be directly reporting
-Monitors progress of the project, making sure the time table and budget is set
REQUIREMENTS
-Fluently in English & Portuguese
-Background in Engineering
-Basic knowledge of civil works, automation systems and process equipment
-Experience in the Food Industry is a requirement
-Strong communication skills
-Pro-active and Hands-on
-Result orientated
