Program Buyer

Currently for one of our client39s- an automotive company based near Zawiercie. We are looking for candidates for a position of Program Buyer. 

Main Duties:

• Calculation of component cost on customer enquiry stage Responsibility for RFQ process with suppliers in scope of new components development / sourcing
• (preparation of RFQ, cost analysis, negotiation, nominations)
• Review of project status / progress with development team and assurance of delivery on time with suppliers
• Tight collaboration with commodity managers to ensure compliance with global sourcing strategy
• Supplier selection and nomination for new projects
• Management (creation & update) of material & vendor master data in ERP system – price, lead time, incoterms, MOQ, etc.
• Spend analysis and implementation of cost savings actions for managed materials groups and suppliers – negotiation, resourcing, engineering change, VA/VE
• Market scanning and development of new suppliers together with supplier quality assurance team.
• Participation in supplier evaluation & assessment process

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in automotive industry in purchasing / project development / engineering area
• English language fluent – written and spoken
• University degree in related field (preferred technical or economic)
• Practical knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Analytical and negotiations skills
• Familiarity of AX2012 ERP system welcomed
• Readiness for travelling
