ROLE DESCRIPTION

In this role you are responsible for the development of new products, and the coordination of new projects. The creation of new products is an important part of your job. Next to that you will improve existing products based on questions of clients and customers. You will be a big part of the innovation of the company. So are you a strong communicator? And are you aware of the developments within the market of Fruit, vegetables and / or natural ingredients. Then we are looking for you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for projects from concept to marketing the product in combination with Innovation, R & D and sales
- Provide product information to salespersons and customers to enrich their knowledge about the products;
- Correct administrative and structured follow-up of development activities in the system;
- Evaluation of raw materials, search of alternatives in consultation with purchase;
- Preparing documents to support development activities, such as specifications, ingredient list, cost price, process parameters, ...
- Assistance in production in case of technical problems.
- Training and support in production at location of clients
- Proactively looking for new ideas and applications or improvements to the innovation product.
- You are willing to travel abroad to support the sales team with your expert product knowledge

REQUIREMENTS

- You are in possession of a Bachelor's (A1) degree in a nutrition-related direction, ideally in the field of Food Science, Master of Life Sciences, etc .;
- A first experience in the field of product development and in the food industry is a big plus;
- You have experience with questionairs and QA documents;
- Commercial feeling is a strength in this position;
- You are very aware of the guidelines in the diet and you take into account hygiene and food safety. Good knowledge of HACCP, BRC and EU Food Standards is necessary;
- You are a team player and you can and dare to take the lead;
- Experience in project management and a structured approach is a plus;
- You are persevering and working very precisely;
- You provide comprehensive and correct communication to parties involved internally;
- You speak excellent Dutch and a very good knowledge of the English language (written and oral).
