Role Description

As Production Planning Manager you will be responsible for all planning processes for production and inventory. Your main task is to reduce inventory levels and make sure that the production processess all work out smoothly and efficiently. In the case of a supplier not delivering or a batch not meeting the quality requirements you would need to adjust the production processes to make sure that the production and delivery to the end clients can still be done.

Responsibilities

- Week to week production planning and reducing inventory levels.
- Determination of the perfect balance between production requirements and inventory.
- Leading and managing a team of 9 FTE.
- Cross-functional projects with procurement, operations and supply chain.
- Budget control and risk management.
- Improvement of production and supply chain processes, development of KPIs and reporting.
- Drive performance, develop training and team-building.
- Continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
- Persuading (internal) stakeholders on international level.

Requirements

- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or any other relevant area.
- Experience in an international production environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and production processes.
- Experience leading a small (5-10 employees) team.
- Experience within a regulated environment is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the will to improve processes.
- Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement .
- SAP experience and knowledge.
- Fluency in Dutch and English
