THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.
A middle-large multinational in the food industry is currently looking for an experienced Production Manager to structure the production processes and focus efficiency and growth within the production.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As production manager you are responsible for managing the entire production with 80FTE, working closely with the Quality- and Engineering department to keep the production standards as high as possible and bring it to the next level.
In this role you are directly responsible for leading and coaching shiftleaders who with 3-shifts. You are the first contactpoint for issues within the production and know how to manager together with engineering and quality.
The focus of this role will be of a production environment which is growing and new production lines which will be installed in the coming months. You have experience with the installation and implementation of new production lines, kpi's and bringing structure within the production environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Leading and coaching the shiftleaders
-First point of contact for issues with the production
-Directly reporting to the Operations Manager
-Installation and implementation of new production lines
-Managing the kpi's
-Bringing structure within the production
REQUIREMENTS
-Minimal bachelor degree, engineering or food technology preferred
-At least 5 year of experience within the Food Industry (B2C preferred)
-Strong communication skills
