The Production Director will lead the operational functions in order to optimise KPI realisation and improve competitiveness. This encompasses implementation and ensurance of sustainability regarding all technical and company specific projects, standards and HSE aspects. Client Details
Our Client is an international manufacturer of industrial rubber products.
Description
- manages the day to day operations within the production departments (team of 230 people in total) in order to achieve the operational targets as defined (budget, productivity, output etc.)
- prepares and executes budget in area of responsibility
- is responsible for HSE aspects for the respective area and ensures observation of all legal requirements
- is a leader in Lean Manufacturing tools and WCM process
- takes care of social relations and people development through effective communication
- manages cooperation with both management and supporting functions (maintenance, process engineering, HR, quality)
- leads and guides the direct reports to act in line with the company corporate guidelines and principles
Profile
- master degree in the field of technical, manufacturing discipline (mechanical, engineering, chemical engineering, technical chemistry accepted as well)
- minimum 6 years management experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in rubber or automotive industry
- financial awareness (P&L, budgets)
- knowledge of WCM and Lean Manufacturing
- knowledge of QMS, HSE aspects
- excellent planning and organisational skills
- strong people management skills: ability to build effective teams
