Your Mission: Working on compliancy for the product portfolio in Advanced Medical NutritionAs a Product Technologist, member of our Research and Innovation Team, you will drive finished goods product development ensuring on time and quality delivery against business expectations.
The key role of this function is to ensure business continuity and deliver secure, productivity and compliance projects taking into account our medical, internal and consumer standards.
You will work in cross functional teams with Operations, Regulatory, Supply Points QA, Medical Affairs, Specification Management, Marketing , Quality and Food Safety.
Activities are focused on Recipe development: recipe design, bench top trials, sensory, functional testing, supporting execution of pilot plant and factory trials, result interpretation and reporting, compiling/updating all technical documentation for each product.
You are a product technologist who likes to analyse facts and figures and is focused on bringing improvements. You will report to the Sr Technologist in the team.
Requirements
• Ensure products can be implemented on production scale to achieve targeted product performance and operational efficiencies to produce safe medical nutrition. Execution of Pilot plant trials and production trials are key.• Contribute to root cause analysis and bring smart solutions to the team.
We are looking for a Product Technologist with:
• A Master degree in Food Technology
• 2 -3 years of work experience in a similar position in an R&D environment in Food Industry
• Passion for food, medical food is a plus.
• Expertise in technology of powders (spray drying, blending), liquids and dairy
• Hands on , analytical, result driven.
• Interest in fact & figures and statistics
• Interest in analytical methods
• Team worker
• Resilient
• Good communication skills in English
• Fast learner
