To identify what is the growth path for the region CEE and work out the value proposition of the products "till customer's agreement" to develop, together with the team, new concepts for the business and help with the implementation of them.
Our client is a company primarily known for its production of a variety of culinary products, ranging from ready-to-eat meals to gourmet sauces and condiments. They focus on creating high-quality, delicious food items that cater to diverse tastes and culinary preferences.
- Identify growth opportunities within the product portfolio and formulate a robust product strategy and development plan
- Stay updated on industry innovations and actively seek out novel ideas
- Lead the development of new products and optimize existing ones in the relevant market, focusing on cost efficiency and quality
- Manage the product portfolio by initiating and rationalizing the product range, monitoring product performance, and conducting consumer research
- Collaborate with Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, and Category Manager to translate customer needs into development projects
- Prepare compelling presentations to persuade customers to consider proposed solutions
- Act as a liaison between the client and internal NPD/R&D teams during the development phase
- Coordinate and oversee sample shipments to customers during the development stage
- Lead New Activity Review meetings and facilitate Sales and Marketing Meetings
- Oversee the implementation process once a new development project is approved by a customer, ensuring timely execution and alignment among internal stakeholders
- Manage client relationships during project implementation, including communication, status reporting, and documentation updates
- Coordinate and actively participate in initial product productions
- Organize internal sales tastings
- Monitor the marketing budget for the region
- Initiate data change management for finished goods
- Launch product management projects in the internal systems
- Collaborate closely with the sales, international marketing, category management team, and the local factory team
- Proven experience in a similar role with substantial customer interaction and a broad scope of responsibilities, including close collaboration with the local team
- Previous experience in the food industry within an international context
- Higher education in marketing, business management, economics, or related field
- Language skills: Advanced English (French and German are advantageous)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Valid driver's license (B category)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Effective communication abilities with both external clients and internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- In-depth knowledge of the CEE region, including familiarity with the retail landscape and FMCG category
