Client Details
Our Client is an American Automotive manufacturing company. Its Polish office is located in Świdnica & employs almost 500 people. Currently most of company's projects are focused on electric vehicles development & manufacturing.
Description
- Leads continuous engineering product development initiatives after its implementation into serial production
- Designs, develops, builds, and implements new components, products, or technologies
- Comes up with, develops and implements VA/VE cost saving initiatives
- Develops and documents functional requirements and translates into detail design documents
- Participates in buy-build analysis for product components.
- Researches new materials and competitive products. Organises, coordinates and executes building, testing, and analysis of prototypes
- Assists supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Oversees the efforts of drafting and testing specialists
- Participates in and supports proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports
- Manages the release of the design through the design change process
- Support the change management process from release through validation and implementation
- Creates and maintains Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (DFMEA)
- Applies the fundamentals Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) to the product drawings
- Develops and maintains a product validation test plan (DVP&R)
- Manages prototype part build requirements
- Helps managing APQP requirements for product engineering
- Cooperates with global suppliers (to ensure parts conform to engineering specifications) & customers
Profile
- Bachelor's (or Master's) degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Min. 2 years of experience at similar position in Automotive manufacturing company
- Fluency in English (min. B2 level)
- Self-sufficiency in leading the issues to closure
- Experience in using CAD system (CATIA, NX) and following programs: Minitab, Microsoft Project, PLM, Excel, Power Point
