THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
They focus on R&D and Marketing in order to provide the best quality products in Europe. Their products are being sold to retailers all over Europe, which is a direct result of their B2B professionality and professional service.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a product developer you will work within the R&D department and be responsible for the development of new products within the framework of the company and their business plan. The products will then be produced and sold to the retailers. This job will require you to work closely with the marketing department and with technology service providers, who will update you with all the new technology innovations that are required for food production.
RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conceptualize new recipes and products
- Planning, organizing and overseeing process or production trials
- Presenting results to colleagues
- Investigating and testing new equipment
- Keep up to date with the relevant production technology trends and food industry trends
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum HBO diploma in Food Engineering/Technology
- Knowledge of HACCP principles (preferably a certificate)
- Relevant work experience in the food production
- Experience in meat technology is an advantage
- Fluency in Dutch and English
