Procurement Project Manager

Miejsce pracy: Kłodzko

Tasks:

  • Collaborates with project and category teams to determine necessary items for procurement during the project. Develops schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Develops and implements long term partnerships and co-operations with external partners to leverage supplier innovation and design capabilities.
  • Aligns project supply chain activities with Procurement & Logistics organization’s sourcing strategies and approved vendor list. Escalates exceptions to ensure best cost, quality, sustainability and delivery performance. Ensures alignment between local PL activities and the PL centers.
  • Manages relationships with suppliers (including negotiations, frame agreements and purchase orders) in partnership with regional and Global Category Management teams.
  • Collaborates with project team to identify new suppliers and supplier changes, and ensures approval for project supplier list.
  • Monitors project staffing plans and project procurement expenditures. Cooperates with functional managers and HR department in project staffing.
  • Applies project procurement procedures and plans and ensures appropriate implementation and compliance by the procurement team.
  • Monitors the project procurement status and updates project management and Procurement & Logistics of any issues. Pro-actively works to resolve issues related to procurement cost, quality and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Masters’ Degree in Business, Engineering, or other relevant coursework.
  • Experience in progressive procurement & logistics area.
  • Experience in working in a large, global matrix industrial business.
  • Experience with diverse/broad application and development of digital tools to improve a business.
  • General understanding of manufacturing units in order to analyze and foresee potential financial/capability issues impacting the business and people decisions.
  • Experience in gaining approval on strategic plans and implement with successful measurable outcomes.
  • Ability to handle ambiguous and diverse responsibilities and be able to adapt to a variety of stakeholders at both a site, local business unit, country, and global level.
  • High comfort level in leading change in a fast-paced environment and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP.
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Six Sigma training and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
