THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Overijssel Netherlands.
They are a meat developing company who focus on innovation and quality. Today they are looking for an addition to their R&D team, who can take up the task of process technologist.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Process Technologist, you will be responsible for the innovation and optimising of products and processes. The flat structure of the company requires cooperative and communicative skills. Your main responsibility is improving the current meat products in all ways possible: for this, you get relative freedom but also bear your own responsibility. The role is literally hands-on, as it involves both administrative tasks and handling and researching meat products. It's a challenging role where you can use your creativity and technical skill.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Innovate and optimise products and processes
- Organise trial runs and tests for the shelf life of products
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, QA and Marketing
- Stay up to date with the market trends
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in Food Technology
- At least 5 years of experience in the food industry and technical processes
- A passion for Meat is important as you will be in contact with meat products every day
- Fluent Dutch and English
- Communicative personality, down-to-earth and no-nonsense
