Our client is leading manufacturer in the high-volume production of essential semiconductors, components that are required by every electronic design in the world.
What you will do
• As Test Engineer, you are responsible for the development of the characterisation, production & reliability test program for Analog & Logic IC’s.
• As Test Engineer, you will work with the design team on generating test-plans.
• Write and debug test programs to enable testing in mass production.
• Assist on customer containments for customer complains pertaining to tests holes (improving test coverage)
• You will work in a multi-functional team, closely together with IC designers to evaluate testability, develop DFT (Design For Test) concepts and apply both new and known test methods.
• As Test Engineer, you drive the industrialization of the test solution and ensure the transfer to production, located on different international Nexperia test centers.
• Must be able to work on PCB schematic development either for load boards/probe cards/translator boards etc.
• Works closely with the Hardware design team as part of the Peer review process on boards development.
• As Test Engineer, you will be responsible to release the test program with zero defect.
• Must focus on meeting timelines set by Program Managers and have the “do it correct the first time” mind set.
• As Test Engineer you will participate in studies and investigations, focusing on cost reductions, quality improvements, test method & test equipment standardization, matching to our product development portfolio.
• You will be working in an international environment with our colleagues in Europe, China and Bangkok.
• You will be given the opportunity to grow in this role and to grow your engineering skills. You will be reporting to the Test & Product Engineering Manager.
What you will need
• Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Analog & Logic, device experience will be an added benefit.
• Have good knowledge and experience in programming especially in C/C++ language
• Must have experience in creating test programs for Semiconductor Automatic Test Equipment.
• Knowledge on ETS88/ETS364/Magnum program development experience is definitely an added advantage.
• Have PCB/circuit design know-how.
• Target driven, takes ownership and shows initiative, is eager to learn and have an entrepreneurial attitude
• Very customer orientated (know the impact of test program on production and customer).
• Possesses analytical skills and ability to apply pragmatic approaches.
• Good command of written and spoken English as well as in technical report writing.
• Knowledge on bench debug along with usage of lab equipment such as Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Curve tracer will be an added advantage.
