Lokalizacja: GdańskFor our Client from packaging solutions industry, we are looking for:
Plastic Category Manager
Responsibilities:
- You will act as the Global Plastics Expert and provide expertise to other functions and sites across the Group
- Responsibility for monitoring market trends and key suppliers’ capabilities
- Supporting local units in their interaction with suppliers, direct interaction with our key plastic suppliers
- You will be part of global sourcing community. In the community, you will exchange ideas, knowledge and best practices. You will lead cost saving initiatives at both local and global level and contribute to operations improvement and total process efficiency
- Preparation of long and short term product development strategies
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in plastics industry
- Min 10 years’ experience in manufacturing, sourcing, quality and sales
- Proficient in English – both writing and speaking is a must
- Has/had a cross border experience – travelling / leaving abroad on a regular basis and willing to continue
- Ideally has a good understand of the costing structure (controller role IE) for the plastic products production
- Strong negotiation skills
- Understands market data, forecasting methods and analizing market trends
