For one of the largest automotive suppliers delivering advanced electrical and electronic, powertrain and safety technologies to vehicle manufacturers around the world we are currently looking for German speaking Plant Quality Manager.
The Plant Quality Manager's role is to ensure thecustomer satisfaction by ensuring the quality and compliance of the company's products to official standards, internally established standards and customer specifications.
As the Plant Quality Manager you will be expected to plan, direct and coordinate the activities of the department ensuring their efficiency, motivation of employees and compliance with deadlines. You can expect responsibilities such as coordination the recruitment of employees and professional training of the department employees, as well as investigation, organise and coordinate preventive and corrective actions and provide feedback to customers.You will be expected to understand the anomalies in the Quality performance, determine its causes and to activate corrective and preventive measures. You will be also responsible for maintaining all the necessary contacts related to Quality (Manufacturing, Product Development, Suppliers and Customers). As a Manager you will be expected to submit and comply with the annual and monthly budget of the department or participate in setting the Quality and Reliability Standards for existing products or for new products.
You will verify that the production process is in accordance with the Quality Standards and be responsible for defining criteria for the measurement of equipment used for inspection of materials and finished products. You will participate in internal and external audits of the manufacturing system and process and support in the elaboration of quality documentation. .
To achieve success in this recruitment process you should possess BS Electrical Engineering or a comparable engineering degree accompanied with well entrenched experience in a similar managerial position, preferably at an automotive supplier. You should demonstrate strong technical and business/economics knowledge and fluent command of German and English, both written and spoken.
