For our Client, an international manufacturing company located in Bolesławiec area, regarded as the benchmark in the world in enameled castings production, we are seeking a team based, and highly dedicated, people-oriented Plant Manager with proven managerial experience in a world-class manufacturing environment.
Being a key player on the market and worldwide, the company has built up an excellent reputation through innovative process developments. Our client wants to reinforce this position in the market by continuously improving the processes and make this in the leading-culture. The plant manager has a crucial part in realizing this ambition. Can you guide the company to this next level?
As a Plant Manager you will have the end responsibility for the performance of the plant hiring around 150 people (direct and indirect cost, quality and delivery performance). You will lead operations with a hands-on mentality, mentoring your team to drive continuous improvement in the plant as you take them to new levels of productivity and, most important, highly satisfied customers. What is more, you will participate in defining near-term and long-term strategic plans for the production plant following the company goals. On the daily basis, you will be also accountable for maintaining a safety culture and interact regularly with internal and external stake holders to resolve issues, drive improvement activities, and prioritize initiatives and resources.
To be successful in this role you should have at least 5+ years of experience in a key management role at a batch operation manufacturing facility and a Technical University Degree. Good command of English language is a must have. Moreover, you should be familiar with regulatory requirements for operating plants and possess adequate knowledge of business and management principles. Good command of the latest manufacturing techniques, including QRM and Lean Manufacturing is desirable as well as a demonstrated strong leadership and advanced teambuilding and coaching skills. Additionally, we are looking for professionals with excellent communication and presentation and project management skills who are able to lead decision making processes. A perfect candidate is a person who is confident, resourceful, creative, self-reliant and self-motivated. Candidates must be prepared for business travels approximately 6 times per year.
