Plant Financial Manager

Client Details

Four our Client, an international manufacturing company with production site located in Łódź, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Candidate to hold a position of Plant Financial Manager.

The person on this position will be one of a key members of the management team influencing the direction of the Polish business through financial control and leadership. This includes providing business partnering, in particular the Plant Manager to advise on production site performance and the Group CFO in financial reporting and compliance.

Description

• Responsibility for the accuracy of the company accounting and financial information by maintaining permanent internal control, in compliance with local rules and laws, procedures and deadlines defined by the Group, and by coordinating all contributors to achieve this;
• Leading and developing the finance and accounting team to support the evolution of needs and
  activities;
• Managing the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes in accordance with the strategic choices of the management and monitor their execution;
• Providing the financial information and cost control, including planning, implementation and supervising the cost control measures in the organization as well as reporting financial results to the management;
• Anticipating and manage all financial issues (cash flow, investments, risk management);
• Providing advice and decision support to operational managers in order to support and assist them in achieving their economic and financial objectives;
• Contributing to performance by deploying Group methods, and identify sources of performance improvement and optimization of the means implemented to achieve it;
• Being the trusted collaborator of the Plant Manager and the Group CFO.

Profile

• Master's Degree in Finance, Economics or related;
• CIMA/ACCA qualifications would be highly appreciated;
• At least 7 to 10 years' experience in finance, including min. 3 years' experience on relevant position, gained in international manufacturing company (must have); previous experience as a Plant Controller would be a huge asset;
• Knowledge and understanding of general business matters required including budget development, financial reporting, cash management and business taxes;
• Proven ability to be a valued and trusted business partner to the and functional leaders;
• Ability to identify issues and develop pragmatic solutions; present such solutions in a clear, concise, robust yet diplomatic manner;
• Ability to build and lead a motivated and collaborative finance team;
• Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver output, flexibly and in a pressurised environment;
• Highly influential with strong persuasive skills;
• A high achiever who can work under pressure, likes to work to demanding goals and targets and strives for excellence;
• An astute business partner with strong consultancy and communication skills together with experience of providing finance support for business development;
• Fluent in English;
• Strong technical skills (MS Office, controlling tools, ERP systems);
• Ability to develop and implement systems, tools and processes increasing business clarity.
