Plant Controller -> Finance Manager (Germany)
A great opportunity to join international manufacturing organisation in Germany between Hamburg and Berlin. If You speak German at B2 level it would be a huge asset. We are looking for experienced Financial Controllers or Finance Managers who could take over accounting dept with 2 employees.

Our Client is international manufacturing company.
Description
- Manage, control and analyse the financial development for plant and act as business partner to the Plant Operational Leadership Team. You will work closely together with the Business Unit Controller in the division as well as other Company Finance functions.
- Coordinate and prepare of the annual budget.
- Perform costs analyses and follow-ups on all cost categories (such as variable and fixed costs) on a monthly and ad-hoc basis and make proposals to minimise deviations.
- Work with different departments on improving results, understanding gaps and helping to close those gaps.
- Manage existing KPI, implement and develop new ones.
- Implement, maintain, and develop tools (external software, own database) to ensure productivity increase in the financial reporting.
- Prepare the financial management reporting timely and accurately (including KPI reporting, analyses, trends), ensuring that all necessary accruals have been booked.
- Present the financial performance results and policies to the Management in order to ensure appropriate business decisions.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities resulting from the analysis to the Management Team and make proposals for corrections and improvements.
- Build a financial awareness in the organisation providing training for non-finance leaders locally.
- Facilitate the yearly costing run and secure organisational involvement in validation of standards, including the monthly material ledger.
- Be a point of contact regarding Finance, assist all levels of the organisations with financial questions in the daily business as well address all finance related requests from the Group.
- Manage projects within finance/cross locations.
- Participate or lead local or global business projects.
- Review project budget and deadlines with project manager.
- Coordinate payments to vendors and subcontractors in relation to project.
- Monitor project to ensure it meets budget guidelines.
- Generate accounting reports at the end of the project.
- Oversee auditing of project financial when necessary.
Profile
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration, as well as a few years of relevant working experience from a job within Finance.
- Solid analitical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good knowledge and understanding of MS Excel and SAP CO.
- Fluent or upper-intermediate German and English language skills in speaking and writing.
- Project management knowledge would be appreciated.
