Role Description

In this role as Planning Manager you will be responsible for short, mid-and-long-term planning. A strong focus will be on process improvement and the optimization of planning through continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

In this role as Planning Manager your responsibilities include:

- Inventory management, execution of plans and completion of short, mid-and-long-term planning
- Analysis of planning processes to support decision making within the Supply Chain department
- Collaboration with supply sites and regional organizations for market supply
- Management of new product introductions (in collaboration with other departments such as sales and marketing)
- Identification of risks and management of planning to ensure production efficiency
- Leading continuous improvement projects using operational excellence and LEAN methodology

Requirements

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the area of Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar
- A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within in an international and complex organization (preferably previous experience in a pharmaceutical environment)
- Experience with end-to-end supply planning and project management
- Preferably, experience with SAP/ERP and understanding of GDP
- Preferably, knowledge of LEAN methodologies
- Fluency in Dutch and English
