6 Month Fixed-term Contract (possibility of extension)

We are seeking a PHP developer with decent Python skills, or a Python Developer with decent PHP skills. Ideally you will have around 3-5 years (or more) of experience as a developer for web applications and can operate confidently and independently.

You will take an active role in maintaining and enhancing our existing front-end and back-end web-based applications and web scraping tools written in Python.

This is a contract role for 6 months with the possibility of extension. B2B relationship is possible.

Start date ASAP.

Monthly compensation will be approx. 12000 - 16000 PLN (EUR ~ 3000–400), depending on experience.

This is a role that can be remote-based, but you must be able to visit Warsaw/Poland (ideally in the beginning and possibly every 6-8 weeks afterwards).

The more of the following you are familiar with, the better: MVC, OOP, GIT, CakePHP and JavaScript, Angular/JS, DHTML, CSS.

You will be responsible for:

• Maintain and develop PHP based in-house tools and backend systems
• Improve existing code, where necessary
• Implement new features upon request

Essential Qualifications:

• PHP (3 years), Python (1 year) OR Python (3 years), PHP (1 year)
• Web Application development (3 years)
• English language skills are a must; all documentation and communication in English.
