Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Flandre Orientale Belgium.
Growing food company with a turnover of more than 5 billion euro's. Employing around 10.000 people and + 50 plants worldwide in the b2b industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Definitely een A level company where belgium people love to work. However, Packaging department is only 5 years old. So still a lot to improve! You will be mainly responsible for the development of packaging concepts and their application to the packaging lines. By guiding the implementation of the packaging concepts, you will be one of the main engineers (manager) that will travel to multiple on site locations through Europe. Still only 30% travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be the support for all packaging related activities
- You will work on new systems, procedures, and specifications to improve the departments effectiveness
- You will communicate with lots of internal stakeholders and influence them in a good way
- You will take part in multiple international packaging projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in Food Science or Packaging Engineering
- 6-10 years of experience in a food or FMCG environment
- Ability to influence your internal stakeholders
- Fluent in english and dutch
